Times Pacific · the three reservable tennis courts each hold two pickleball courts · zitnr publishes about two weeks ahead. The green, orange, and blue blocks are GLP's own reservations — the same window booked across the courts so third parties can't take them. Red blocks are third-party reservations: single-court bookings, the ones zitnr shows with a court number.

Point the handle down toward the lake for beginner, right for intermediate, up for advanced, and left for expert. Honest stacking matches like-skilled players for fun, competitive games.

Beginner Welcome Courts
Never held a paddle? Perfect.
Dedicated beginner courts create a friendly, low-pressure place to learn. No experience needed. No partner required. Just show up and play.
- Just bring yourself — athletic shoes recommended.
- Paddles and balls are available to borrow.
- Volunteers teach basic rules, scoring, and court etiquette.
- Free to play — optional donations help keep it running.
There's a beginners' WhatsApp community too. Come play in person and someone will gladly add you; invite links are shared courtside to keep out spammers.
A first-timer question
I've never played — where do I start?
Beginner Welcome Courts. Every Thursday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM, courts are blocked off for beginner and intermediate players. Volunteers teach basic rules, scoring, and etiquette; paddles and balls are available to borrow. No experience, partner, or sign-up needed.
Look for the orange traffic cones on the eastern-most courts, nearest the road. Sessions are weather-permitting.

Green Lake Pickleball collects no dues. Player donations help cover court reservations, pickleballs, tape, nets, and maintenance equipment.
